You wouldn't believe the amount of times we hear people say how
they
can't use a Discover Indy book (also known as ZooBook) because they are
single. We know that it can be frustrating to see so many "Buy one, get
one" deals in one place... however being single, doesn't mean your
required to pay full-price for everything.
1. The asterisk!
Many people don't know this.. but in the Finer, Select, Casual Dining
& Breakfast & Lunch sections you may spot an asterisk by an
offer. This asterisk, as stated in the rules of use is for single
diners, and changes a BOGO offer into a 50% off deal. So keep an eye out
for the little guy when flipping though the book.
2. Why pay retail?
The retail "Savings Cards", $50 FREE Stuff Card, and offers in the Bonus
section are either dollars, or percents off a purchase or service. You
can easily save money on everything from dry cleaning to pet supplies.
3. The buddy system!
If you don't enjoy eating out alone, take a friend or family member with
you and be a hero. Combine your tickets, instead of splitting them and
you can both save a little money.
4. Share the love!
If you know there are coupons you won't be using in the book, tear them
out and give them to a friend or co-worker whom you know frequents that
business or activity. They'll thank you for it. The mom next door would
love to have the coupons for Rascal's Fun Zone and Chuck-E-Cheese...
and if you don't golf, but dad does, you just saved him and a golfing
buddy a ton of money on green fees around the city. There's plenty to
share.
5. Meal planning on a budget!
Take advantage of our BOGO menu items inside the Fast Food section and
get 2 meals for the price of one. For example, why not buy a Subway Sub,
and get another one free, so you can enjoy it for lunch at the office
tomorrow.
