Agio Restaurant
Owner-chef Joseph Heidenreich continues to wow guests with his innovative presentations and knack for blending flavors. Popular with theater goers and the downtown crowd during the week, Agio has become a favorite Sunday brunch spot, especially when it’s warm enough to get a table on the covered patio that offers a view of trendy Massachusetts Avenue.
The arty décor has a cosmopolitan feel without losing its inviting atmosphere. Relax over an upscale three-course dinner or stop for a platter of pasta and a glass of wine. We favor the farfalle with artichokes, olives, spinach and sun dried tomatoes for pure comfort. The salmon is another favorite and leaves you guilt free for making a healthful selection.
Indulge your taste for haute cuisine with an entrée that’s as flavorful as it is creative: pork tenderloin stuffed with prosciutto and served with risotto. Service is consistently good and very accommodating to youngsters. Situated in the center of Indy’s theater district, there’s live jazz on Friday and Saturday nights. For dinner try to get a table on the covered patio and take in the night scene while indulging in superb cuisine.
